Some dreams tell us a story, others may grow to be realities. There are also the yearnings that just evolve back, through work, and find their ways to the private, untold cabinet of time.
This series of etchings published by the Gottesman Etching Center refer to the time I spent in the Dead Sea and the work I have done there over the years, delving into the heart of the wishes that I make there. The collection celebrates in particular the work “Salt Bride” (2014), a series of photographs. These underwater images documented eight stages throughout which a black dress metamorphosed into a white dress, resplendent with carnallite crystals.
