Projects 87, 2008
MoMA - The Museum of Modern Art, NY, USA
Curator: Klaus Biesenbach

In this project, Landau has showcased Cycle Spun (2007), three discrete video loops that functioned together as a trilogy and a triptych of moving images. Each of the videos depicted a performative act of spinning or a circular motion the artist has carried out against Israeli landscape backdrops.

A cluster of salt-coated lampshades cast shadows of flowers on the floor of the museum - where in fact they were constructed of barbed wire which after being submerged in the Dead Sea glistened with snow-like crystals.
