SEA STAINS, 2019
Dwek Gallery, Mishkenot Sha’ananim, Jerusalem
In this exhibition I sought to provide viewers with a more intimate look at my work as well as trace my personal thought processes. The drawings I showcased stood in stark contrast to the installations and large-scale productions I have been preoccupied with over the years.
Imbued with color and created in various methods, the drawings on show were created in order to clarify or illustrate for myself ideas that I had; others were crafted as conceptual sequences. Part of the sketches were done on small sheets of paper, to emulate the intimate nature of drawing in a sketchbook. Part of them were made on larger papers, on which I applied eclectic techniques.
